After
a sculpture has been created in clay, a latex "Glove
Mold" is created from the
sculpture.
Here
the glove mold is used to make a "Mother Mold," a
two-part plaster casting.
Plaster
is mixed with hemp fiber to create a strong mold.
This
is the casting of the second piece of the mother mold.
The
two pieces of the hemp-plaster mother mold are joined.
